The History Behind Bokamoso Mthimkulu Biokineticist

It was founded in November 2021 by Bokamoso (Bokz) Mthimkulu who earned her Honors Degree in Biokinetics from WITS University in 2019 and completed her internship in June 2021. Her education provided her with a deep understanding of injuries, conditions, and the crucial role of efficient movement in maintaining health and independence. She realized that Biokinetics extends beyond treating the injured and healthy to also encompass individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bokz began using Biokinetics to enhance people’s quality of life but felt her approach was not holistic enough. She expanded her knowledge to include the role of nutrition, the connection between brain and body, and the impact of meditation on well-being. She further went to complete her Masters in Science in Medicine (Biokinetics) Degree in 2025. This broadened perspective led her to adopt a more holistic approach to Biokinetics, recognizing that various aspects of a person’s life can influence their treatment and recovery. Bokz now enjoys empowering others to understand their holistic nature and take charge of their health.

This journey also led Bokz to improve her own lifestyle, experiencing a personal transformation that inspired the name “Reignite Health.” It reflects the renewed energy and spark she felt and aims to help others reignite their own light through holistic healing. The color green represents growth, wholeness, and rebirth, embodying the values of Reignite Health.
